Wedgewood Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager (PM 3) to join our team! Wedgewood is a leading acquirer of distressed residential real estate, specializing in the purchase, rehab, and resale of single family homes. Founded in 1985, Wedgewood has grown into a diversified, vertically integrated company, expanding its business footprint to include residential rehabilitation, non-performing loans, property management, private lending, brokerage, escrow, and more. What you'll do

  • Oversee a team of Project Managers within a specific region
  • Oversee sites and monitor progress of construction
  • Assist in the selection of contractors/vendors. Ensure that PMs are working within an appropriate budget; step in to recommend or approve budget changes when needed
  • Supervise onsite crew and communicate with contractors; cultivate new contractors as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure projects remains on schedule
  • The Regional Manager should possess strong organization and time management skills to keep track of projects and deadlines, eliminate potential stress in the process, and ensure that business operations can flow smoothly.
  • Interface with upper management and design team
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure properties are moved through the pipeline quickly, correctly and efficiently

What you'll need

  • 6+ years in single family home remodels required
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Construction Management degree is a big plus
  • 2+ years in a management role overseeing a team of Project Manager
  • Established relationships with local vendors/contractors and ability to cultivate new relationships
  • Understanding of the local market
  • Knowledge of basic home construction
  • Ability to work at a fast pace under minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Aptitude with computers and mobile devices, i.e. iPads, etc.
  • Valid driver's license
