VMI Enterprises at Henderson Executive Airport is currently seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our team! We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond the ordinary.

Responsible for maintaining daily scheduling of flight crews; handles changes to schedule based on operational need and crew availability.

What you'll do

  • Provides accurate charter quotes based on customer requests
  • Coordinates FBO services, aircraft handling, passenger amenities, and flight crew accommodations.
  • Schedules trips and communicates schedule changes that efficiently utilize pilots and crewmembers with a timely manner
  • Assesses demand for upcoming day and provides recommendations for crew duty times based on geographic factors, cabin type, and departure time demand
  • Generates and evaluates reports as necessary to ensure that crews are legal and qualified for flight assignments.
  • Ensures that all crew members assigned to each flight meet customers’ qualification requirements
  • Ensures all crewmember assignments are in accordance with FAA mandated regulations and company policies.
  • Arranges and obtains flight related authorizations, including Canadian and Mexican permits, international over flight permits, Customs and eAPIS for international flights.
  • Manages communications between scheduling department and owners/executives utilizing timely and professional responses and emails
  • Manages customer relations between customers and VMI Enterprises
  • Monitors and flight-follows all trips by checking and coordinating ground transportation, catering and on-time scheduled departure.
  • Reviews and processes invoices, expenses and fuel pricing for each charter and owner trip as needed.
  • Assists with other projects as needed.

What you'll need

  • NATA Safety 1st aircraft flight coordinator
  • Associate’s degree preferred but not required
  • Aviation experience preferred but not required
  • FAA Dispatchers License preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proficient in SchedAero
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated mathematical ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Customer/Client/Owner Focus
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed
  • Pass FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks and submit to random drug test when required
