Wedgewood is looking for a Project Manager to oversee multiple renovations for the worlds leading acquirer of distressed residential real estate, specializing in the purchase, rehab, and resale of single-family homes. We want someone who will come in with energy, enthusiasm and experience managing small teams in your own territory, overseeing multiple renovation projects.

As an integral part of our team managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, your focus will be creating value in neglected properties that helps to support our belief in sustainability and renewability.

What you'll do

  • Conduct property inspections prior to acquisition
  • Determine rehab and design strategy while exhibiting confidence and strong decision making
  • Collect estimates; submit bids and select teams of vendors
  • Manage multiple single-family renovation projects in a given region
  • Maintain relationships and manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors while consistently pursuing and cultivating additional partners
  • Regularly visit projects to conduct property checks ensuring projects remain on schedule 
  • Communicate with other departments ensuring properties move through the pipeline efficiently and inexpensively.

What you'll need

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Real Estate or Business
  • You are fluent in both Spanish and English
  • You have experience with single-family home remodels in this region
  • You have established relationships with local vendors/contractors and have the ability to cultivate new relationships
  • You possess intelligence, diligence, attention to detail, problem solving skills and a positive attitude
  • You have a strong aptitude with computers and mobile devices, i.e. iPads, etc.
  • You posses and use a valid driver's license
  • You think strategically but also love to get your hands dirty
  • You come up with simple solutions to complex problems.
