Wedgewood is currently seeking a Senior Transaction Coordinator to join our team! Our company is a leading acquirer of distressed residential real estate, specializing in the purchase, rehab, and resale of single family homes. Founded in 1985, we have since grown into a diversified, vertically integrated company, expanding our business footprint to also include non-performing notes, home warranty, lending, design, brokerage, property management, escrow, and more. 


What you'll do


  • Work directly with the managing Broker as the primary liaison between agents, escrow, title, and mortgage lender for each individual transaction.
  • Draft written communication, contract documents and negotiates contract terms during escrow.
  • Monitor the transaction to ensure that all terms of the contract are being followed.
  • Assist in maintaining the electronic file for each asset, verifying that all required documents have been received and completed properly.
  • Provide oversight to the Jr. Transaction Coordinator to ensure accuracy of electronic file.
  • Coordinate with property managers to confirm repairs are completed as negotiated and on time.
  • Order contractually required reports such as termite, appraisal, home & city inspections, etc.
  • Audit electronic file prior to closing to confirm all required documents have been received and completed properly, following up with clients and vendors where necessary. 
  • Assist in communicating with clients and vendors to resolve any issues that may come up during the transaction.

What you'll need


  • Real Estate License in one of these states AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, NV, UT, OR, WA, NM 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
  • 3+ years real estate transaction coordinator experience required
  • Real estate knowledge (especially contracts and C.A.R. forms) is a HUGE plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines with a smile
  • Ability to stay organized and properly prioritize time sensitive tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be computer literate.
